WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • PRESIDENT, GA SECURITY ENFORCEMENT LLC, ATLANTA, GEORGIA- JUNE 1992 TO PRESENT.

Responsibilities:  Overseeing the security department—training, certification and supervision of security officers, interviewing and hiring prospective employees, writing proposals and bidding on security contracts. Also responsible for organizing and implementing security programs, and keeping officers abreast of Georgia Law through in-service training as well as conducting crime-prevention seminars for clients and performing  safety and health/ hazard inspections.

  • RISK MANAGER/SAFETY DIRECTOR/COORDINATOR OF SECURITY SERVICES,WEST PACES HOSPITAL, ATLANTA, GEORGIA – FEBRUARY 1990 TO November 1991 

Responsibilities:  Supervised security staff, performed safety and health hazard inspections, responded to OSHA and EPA complaints.  Trained new employees on safety and fire hazards.  Served as liaison between attorneys and West Paces Ferry Hospital regarding safety concerns.  Chairman of Safety Committee at hospital.

  •  POLICE OFFICER, MARTA POLICE DEPARTMENT, ATLANTA, GEORGIA, – APRIL 1988 TO JANUARY 1990

Responsibilities: Investigate any person or property crimes. Interview and interrogate suspects, perform apprehension, indictment, prosecution and conviction of law offenders. Testify in criminal and civil court, secure crime scenes, finger print and photograph arrestees.                

                           

  • POLICE OFFICER, TALLAHASSEE POLICE DEPARTMENT, TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA- JANUARY 1979 TO JULY 1987

Responsibilities:  Investigated crime scenes, surveillance, analyzed data collected from investigations, compiled data into narrative reports, investigated personal crimes (battery, rape, homicide, etc.) and property crimes (mail and credit card fraud, forgery, shoplifting, retail theft, burglary, arson, etc.), supervised police officers assigned to special details, utilized radar to enforce traffic laws, testified in traffic, criminal and civil court, served arrest warrants, finger-printed and photographed arrestees, interviewed and interrogated suspects, performed apprehension, indictment, prosecution and conviction of law offenders.
